At the Bar

Riposte had just arrived back to the Crystal Empire a few days ago and had found himself back out on the streets looking for some new mare to drag on home with him. 
This whole day had been awful. His sisters had been on him more than usual, mocking him and laughing at him. 
Like when he came back from fencing practice and they would seemingly be waiting for him outside just to start making stupid jokes. 

"Hope the other guys swords didn't intimidate you" 

"If you're scared we could ask them out for you" 

"You looked a bit stiff out there, saw something you liked?" 

All just really stupid and harmless to most others. But Riposte didn't take it like most. His manliness had been challanged and he needed to prove them wrong. He was going to drag someone back to the castle and make her holler in the room right next to Flurry's. That ought to show her that he was no pansy. 

It was rather dark outside when he slipped into one of the many nightclubs, only nodding quickly to the bouncer to let him in. 
The inside was bustling with life. The air was filled with high tempo music and ponies could be seen dancing out on the dance floor. In the other end of the club was a few booths pressed up against the wall, as well as a well lit bar. 
Amazingly enough the bar was rather free of ponies as there was only a few sitting there scanning the dance floor from the barstools or shouting their orders to the bartender. 

One mare however stood out. She was sat with her back towards him, hoof wrapped around a half empty appletini. She was a unicorn and probably a rather pretty one at that, judging from her overall look. 
Riposte shruged slightly before walking over to sit down next to her. Might as well go for her, he thought to himself, hoping it wouldn't take to much of his time. 

As he sat down he gave her a inviting smirk as he ordered himself an ale. If he was to be honest with himself he didn't really like ale all that much, however it was the most suiting thing to order he had deduced. 

The mare glanced to him with a blank look. Possibly sizing him up or something. 

Whilst waiting for his drink he tuned towards her, thinking of just playing it straight from the beginning, she looked like a mare that could appreciate that.

"Hey good looking, haven't seen you around here before" he started, not really trying that hard to reel her in, there where plenty more mares he could turn to, being the prince and all. 

"Well i'm not really from around here" She answered simply looking down at her appletini like she just thought of something. 

Perfect! Riposte thought. That meant he would run a lesser risk of running into her again. 

"I see, well I don't suppose you would be out looking for a bit of fun before you return home?" He smiled once more as he said this, giving her a bit of a sultry look in the process. 

"I hope you're not suggesting yourself darling, considering the two of us seem to be on the hunt for the same thing" She said cooly as she took a sip of her drink. 

Riposte was taken aback. 

"Pardon?" 

"C'mon sugar, who are you really trying to fool here, me or yourself?" 

Riposte was starting to sweat and he instinctly moved back a bit. How could she? What was she?

"But tell you what" She continued just as the bartender placed his ale on the bar "you buy me one of those and I'll go with you so you can prove me wrong, ey? Some other pony bought me this junk, don't really care for it much" She was looking at her tini. 

"I eh... deal!" Riposte had been knocked of his game, he felt very unsure of this yet he couldn't back out now.
Waving at the bartender he then order yet another ale. 

"I must say though, it's not everyday that I get hit on by royalty"

She seems to know more stuff about you then you can even admit to yourself Ripper, now I wonder just how she knew that?
Maybe your "sneaky undercover super secret" trips to the towns drag shows and gay bars wasn't quite as sneaky as you thought they were. 
You know considering you're a giant pink stallion with a trenchcoat and sunglasses... indoors. 

Yeah so I changed my mind about Petit's family not knowing his drag queen thing he has going on. They know. Rarity is super proud and happily makes dress comissions for her baby boy, Donut thinks it's lovely that his son is passionated about stuff and Scarlet sometimes comes to some of his shows together with Rarity, never forgetting to gossip afterwards. 
Apparently he's been seeing the pink pony prince a few times whilst singing on stage.
